Meghan Metzler Hired as VSAC CFO
Kirstin Boehm Takes on New Role as Senior Director
Meghan Metzler, CPA has joined the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Kirstin Boehm has been promoted to the Senior Director of Outreach, Research and Development.
Metzler comes to VSAC with a background in accounting, auditing and regulatory compliance. She was a principal at BDO USA, and previously, Managing Director in PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets Chief Auditor Network. A graduate of Syracuse University, Metzler is also Chair of the Champlain Valley School Board. She replaces VSAC CFO Mike Stuart, who is retiring.
Boehm, who has been VSAC’s director of Career Education and Outreach for seven years, is now the Senior Director of Outreach, Research, and Development. Boehm leads VSAC’s research, development, outreach staff and programming while building partnerships and engaging stakeholders with a focus on equity and opportunity. Prior to working with VSAC, Boehm worked in Washington, DC, and internationally in Thailand and Ecuador. Boehm is a graduate of Bates College.
